Here is the first casting call for Season 7 of One Tree Hill. Filming will begin on 17th June currently.
Quote:
[QUINN]
Mid to late 20s, very pretty. One of Haley’s older sisters, Quinn is a free spirit but can also be dependable and kind. Strong-willed, self-assured but also self-effacing, Quinn is facing a transitional time in her life, one that will bring her to Tree Hill with a wounded heart and in search of something more...SERIES REGULAR.

[ALEXIS]
20s, gorgeous. Alexis is a model/actress and the new face of Brooke’s clothing line. Alexis is an adrenaline junkie and a bit of a diva who is used to getting her way. Book smart and street wise, Alexis uses her wiles to navigate the sometimes treacherous waters of her profession. She has also never met a party she didn’t like, a habit that may inhibit or accelerate her transition from model to actress, depending on who crosses her path sptv050769. PLEASE SUBMIT ALL ETHNICITIES...SERIES REGULAR.

[CLAYTON]
Late 20s, handsome. A young and brash sports agent who represents Nathan Scott’s basketball interests, Clayton is a rising star at his agency and has become a close friend, ally, business partner and advisor to Nathan. A bit of a lothario, Clayton unapologetically enjoys the spoils that are available to a young, wealthy, handsome single guy, while always separating business from pleasure, and remaining fiercely protective of Nathan. PLEASE SUBMIT ALL ETHNICITIES...SERIES REGULAR.

oodbye Leyton, hello .... Clayton?

Less than 24 hours after word broke that neither Chad Michael Murray nor Hilarie Burton will be returning for One Tree Hill's seventh season, there is new intel on exactly who will be filling the void.

Though early reports suggested that only two new faces would be arriving in Tree Hill, it looks like we might get three, based on casting call info obtained by Spoiler TV.

For starters, there's Quinn, one of Haley's older sisters. She is described as "a free spirit... strong-willed ... but also self-effacing." She'll hit town toting a broken heart. Note: Quinn is not to be mistaken for Taylor, the sis of Haley's who took Nathan's V-card — though that sure could have been a fun reunion.

Tree Hill viewers also will meet Alexis, the "gorgeous" new face of Brooke's clothing line. My favorite bit on this beauty: "She has never met a party she didn't like." Watch out, Wilmington!

Lest female fans not get any new eye candy, there's also a casting call out for Clayton, who in addition to desperately needing a name change is a sports agent who crosses paths with Nathan. The foundation for this "handsome" lad's arrival is laid in the Tree Hill season-ender airing May 18.

The sixth-season finale of CW fan favorite One Tree Hill airs this Monday and with it comes the end of an era. Chad Michael Murray and Hilarie Burton, the show's long-standing lead characters, are saying sayonara to the town of Tree Hill. You all had so many questions about what that means that we couldn't resist doing a very special spoiler chat just about OTH.

Keep reading for all the spoilery goodness about the season finale and the future of North Carolina's best and brightest...

Danielle in Brookvale, NSW, Australia: Please tell me Brooke and Julian get together!? It's about time there is a happy ending for Brooke. So far this season she has had her company, lost her company, had Sam, lost Sam, had Julian, lost Julian and officially lost Lucas to Peyton. Please give Brooke some love!
It's sweet how concerned you are about Brooke's future...and rightly so. The poor girl has been to hell and back this season—don't forget that break-in and beating! Luckily, TPTB over in Tree Hill took note and her happy ending is on the way. Julian is back in the finale and it looks like B. Davis is finally getting her fairy-tale "movie" ending. And who better to give it to her than the Hollywood director himself? We're just sayin'.

Jaymes in Oakland: Since Katie Voegle's CD is coming out in real life too, is Mia going to stick around Tree Hill?
Mia and Chase (Stephen Coletti) are still going strong, but she is getting ready to hit the road to promote her new album. In the finale, Chase shows up at Mia's CD signing and what she writes definitely makes for an awww-worthy moment. No word yet on if the duo will be back in the restructured show next year.

Joan in Los Angeles: I can't imagine One Tree Hill without Hilarie Burton and Chad Michael Murray. I hope they didn't really leave because of money issues!
While we can't speak for CMM (although that video from a few months back spoke volumes), our best frenemy scored an interview with Hilarie after the news of her departure broke, and it sounds like at least her departure from the show was pretty amicable. Hilarie said, "Everyone was kind of agreeable about the situation. There were a lot of really wonderful conversations. It wasn't a rash decision; a lot of thought, emotion and kindness was put into it. I would hope that that's the story that gets out."

What about Nick Lachey? Is he coming back for more?
If you mean is there any more "Nick Lachey-ing" in the finale, thankfully, no. The former pop star's last appearance of the season was last week, but if you just can't get enough of their constant first-and-last-name-calling of Nick Lachey, check out this week's Condensed Soup on E! Online for Joel McHale's take on the cameos. Hilarious!

lc_mundell: Does Ashley Rickards (Sam) make an appearance at all in the One Tree Hill finale? You said everything ends so pleasantly, and I can't imagine Brooke having a happy ending that doesn't involve Sam.
Unfortunately Sam doesn't come back, but there is a sweet moment with Brooke talking to Sam on the phone. Like we said before, don't worry about Brooke's happy ending. It's on the way.

Amyjbennett: We know that James Lafferty filmed with the NBA's Bobcats. Is that a dream sequence?
Interesting question, Amy. If by dream sequence you mean a scene that is dream-like because Nathan can't believe it's true, then yes, Nathan joining the Bobcats is a dream sequence.

Karen Novak: I would like to know if Dan Scott lives or if they are going to have him die? Please don't have him die as he adds so much to the show and his relationship with Jamie is adorable.
Dan is still alive and kicking, but definitely still struggling with his conscience. In fact, the finale finds him in the company of a familiar—and beloved—former Tree Hill face who becomes a surprising ally in the birth of a new Dan Scott. In fact, two former castmembers are back for the finale. Guesses?

Sabrina in Prescott, Ariz: Is Millicent leaving Mouth behind and moving to New York? How could Brooke do that to them!
Don't worry about this adorkable couple. They'll survive whatever unexpected changes come to Clothes Over Bros.

Jessica: If Lucas and Peyton aren't coming back to One Tree Hill, do they at least get a proper send-off?
That has been the topic of discussion this week and in our opinion, the answer is yes. If you haven't already heard, cover your eyes now: Peyton and baby Scott beat the odds and live happily ever after in the finale. Okay, so it's not that cut-and-dried, but after all of the heartache and loss Peyton has survived during six seasons of OTH, this final episode is a cakewalk. All elements of Lucas-Peyton saga are present in their final scene and we even get the traditional Chad Michael Murray voiceover. Fans are not left with a big question mark ending for Leyton. In fact, we'd go as far as to say that they do get their happily ever after.

I miss them too. So so much.

MTV had an article about the finale and LP:

Quote:
‘One Tree Hill’ Finale: How We Would Have Said Goodbye To Leyton

By Kathleen Newman-Bremang

If you haven’t watched the season finale of “One Tree Hill” yet, stop reading this now. Seriously. The following post is packed with spoilers. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Umm … that’s it? That was the big Peyton/Lucas send-off? No deaths, no heartbreak and (gasp) no car crashes. What!?

Since news broke that Hilarie Burton and Chad Michael Murray — otherwise known as Peyton Sawyer and Lucas Scott — would be leaving “One Tree Hill” next season, I’d been mentally preparing for a heart-wrenching and emotionally draining season-six finale. You know, complete with the cliff-hangers, fights and shocking drama “OTH” finales are known for. Well, last night, that’s not what fans got. Sure, I was blubbering like baby Sawyer by the first commercial break, but after 15 minutes, we found out that Peyton wasn’t going to die (thankfully, since the show’s body count was getting kind of ridiculous) and Nathan would get the chance to play in the NBA (finally!).

After those two heartwarming revelations, the episode went on to depict a world in which all the characters in our favorite fictional town live perfect lives — except for resident villain Dan. It all just seemed too perfect. Yes, the episode managed to tie up some loose ends — Brooke and Julian are back together, score! — but it left me with a few burning questions. Where was Skills? Why did “Laguna Beach” alum Stephen Colletti get so much (or any) screen time? And finally, did I miss something?

In the final minutes, without explanation or any clear motivation, Lucas turns to his wife and says, “Take a ride with me, Peyton Sawyer,” and they drive off into the distance … never to return. Ever. Seriously? I know die-hard “Tree Hill” fans will be with me on this one. THAT’S IT? Come on, “OTH” writers, If Leyton were going to ride into the sunset, they should’ve at least been dragging Dan’s dead body behind them. Too morbid? Well I’ve got five other possible endings I think would satisfy fans more than the subdued send-off we had to settle for.

So without further adieu, I give you my list of five alternate “OTH” season endings:

1. Lucas and Peyton both die. Hey, hear me out on this one. Peyton dies of complications from childbirth as expected, and Lucas subsequently dies of a broken heart. (He does have a heart condition, remember?) They’d still get their happy ending — in heaven! It would totally be like the end of “The Notebook.” Oh, and Brooke and Julian would adopt baby Sawyer. Too perfect!

2. Peyton tells Lucas the baby she just had isn’t actually his — it’s Julian’s! The news makes Lucas so mad he skips town after partaking in a really hot fight scene with Julian. Peyton is so overcome with shame that she also flees Tree Hill. It’s not very happy, but I promise, it would’ve been a really good fight scene.

3. Lucas and Peyton ride into the sunset — but first, they actually explain to everyone where they are going. It’s so crazy it could work.

4. The season ends with last week’s episode: Lucas and Peyton’s wedding. The episode left us with Peyton collapsed on the floor. The cliff-hanger would’ve killed us for the whole summer!

5. Crazy nanny Carrie comes back (from the dead?) to steal Lucas and Peyton’s baby, which sends them on a cross-continental hunt for their missing daughter and said crazy nanny.

OK, OK. Maybe after all they’ve been through in six seasons, these two deserved their happy ending. Lucas and Peyton, you were this generation’s Joey and Pacey: the overly dramatic couple we couldn’t help but root for. We’ll miss you.

#3 cracked me up. Love the end. It's true, despite everything, they got their happy ending.

'One Tree Hill' exclusive: Brian Austin Green got game?

Jun 1, 2009, 07:23 PM | by Michael Ausiello
One Tree Hill may've hatched the perfect plan to get viewers over the loss of Chad Michael Murray: Hire an actor with three names more famous than his!

Sources confirm to me exclusively that Brian Austin Green is in advanced talks to join the cast next season as a series regular. "They're ironing out a few issues," notes a Tree Hill insider, "but it's pretty much a done deal."

Who is Green playing and what does it mean for Nathan (James Laferty)? Keep reading and find out!

The 90120 Sarah Connor Chronicles star would play Nathan's Jerry Maguire-esque sports agent, Clayton.

As you know, Green had a starring role in The CW pilot Body Politic. When that show failed to snag a spot on the fall schedule, network brass approached him with the Tree Hill gig.

Clayton is one of three new characters OTH will be introducing in its seventh season. Still to be cast are the roles of Haley's older sister and a model-actress Brooke hires to be the new face of her clothing line.

Okay, Tree huggers, this is your first glimpse of OTH 2.0. Do you like what you see? Sound off below!

remember the new series regular role on "One Tree Hill" which The CW offered to Brian Austin Green? The one which they were offering him 75K an episode for? The one which I told you he was passing on?

Robert Buckley of "Lipstick Jungle" and "Privileged" fame is going to fill it.

Yep, Buckley will play a brash sports agent who becomes close pals with Nathan, advising him on both career and personal matters come next season.

VanSanten, who will be seen in the upcoming Final Destination reboot, joins fellow Tree Hill virgin Robert Buckley as the newest additions to the show's cast. The Lipstick Jungle hottie is playing Nathan's sports agent.
